Dr. Lewis awarded Mastership in Implantology

On August 20th, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. David M. Lewis was prestigiously awarded a Mastership in Implantology by the International Commission of Oral Implantologists. The ICOI is the world’s largest dental implant organization as well as the world’s largest provider of continuing dental implant education. In order to receive his Mastership, Dr. Lewis was interviewed by members of the ICOI’s Advanced Credentials Commission and then submitted to a written exam as well as a case review.

Dr. Lewis is located in Sacramento, CA where he performs everything in house from placement to restoration and fully restores implants in his own laboratory. Dr. Lewis is now working on his credential for Diplomate status in implantology.

A: The implant is removed and the site is allowed to heal. Another implant can usually be placed after healing.
